Leanne Pearl, a masters student in the Fangue Lab, has been awarded a $750 Fly Fishers of Davis Scholarship to continue her research on the intersection of Indigenous Traditional Ecological Knowledge (ITEK) with Western Science through salmonid reintroductions on the McCloud River. This annual scholarship supports a graduate student conducting research in fisheries biology and/or riparian or limnetic ecology benefitting California’s recreational fisheries.
