Research Interests:

I am interested in the effects of climate change on aquatic ecosystems, in particular on an organismal level—how they may respond to these highly variable stressors and what we can do to slow down the deterioration of our ecosystems.

Since joining the Fangue Fish Conservation Physiology Lab in May 2022, I have had the opportunity to participate in the endurance trials for juvenile green sturgeons, with the aim to assess, in part, how different size classes fare physiologically in different temperatures and flow rates. And apart from fish care, I have also enjoyed taking part in a few construction projects, such as building the interior panels for our experimental flume as well as preparing standpipes and egg/rotifer stands for future projects on longfin smelt.
