B.S. Marine and Coastal Science

I am interested in researching marine and freshwater ecosystems. Anadromous fish are my favorite, and I love to study their behavior, physiology, and the ways they impact their environment. I have had the privilege of working on many projects in the lab, from processing samples to many of the live fish experiments. One of my favorite projects that I’ve been involved with is the Green Sturgeon Broodstock Program. I find it fascinating watching our fish grow from tiny eggs to massive adults.  I hope to take my skills into a career in conservation and fisheries research, focusing on California’s native species and the state's unique water systems.
