Research Interests:

I am fascinated by and thoroughly enjoy researching all aquatic animals, with a specific interest in marine invertebrates. In my time as an undergraduate at UC Davis, I gained experience in rocky intertidal and riverine fieldwork. Additionally, I learned Native California fish and aquatic invertebrate husbandry, performed physiological sampling, and studied chemical gradients in estuaries.

My current research focus is on the developmental biology of Longfin Smelt. I work to improve larviculture practices for the UC Davis Longfin Smelt Conservation and Culture Program.
